Patio Playground

A mini golf course who has been on the island longer than most houses, hasn’t changed its course one bit. My mom who has played over a hundred games at Patio Playground, could tell you exactly what each hole looks like and its par, without looking. With its never changing course, Patio Playground is an absolute must do when in Topsail Island. 

Once you get your clubs and pick which ever color or design ball you want, you head over to the 1^sthole. While playing a dj with take music requests or even interact with you while you play. Throughout the course there are plenty of places to write your name on the wood that has been there as long as the building has been there. Your name is guaranteed to be there for 2 years, until the Patio Playground repaints all the wood different colors, for a new look. 

 

After playing 17 holes, on the 18^thyou get a chance to win a free game if you hit a hole in one, after losing mini golf to my un-athletic cousins, all I could think about was the ice cream I could eat or the arcade games I could play afterwards. With its own ice cream parlor connected to the golf course, it’s easy to spend a couple of hours just hanging out at Patio Playground. With lots of seating or gaming options, the Patio Playground is a family entertainment source for multiple nights of your vacation stay!
